Just a reminder that we are going to the WSO tomorrow.  We do ask that students come dressed nicely to school tomorrow.

Math Quiz

Good afternoon,

I will be giving a Math quiz on the division unit on Thursday.  I have sent a note home explaining what will be on it.  We have also done centres to practice and we will do another review tomorrow.  I also sent home a list of strategies last week.   The quiz will cover basic division, division with zeros, and long division questions with and without remainders (3 digits divided by one digit).  I do suggest giving your child practice questions as well as practicing their multiplication table.   This can also be done playing on multiplication.com

A few notes...

Here are a few notes ...

1. The students are either to finish their French text or do LCM (their choice of book) tonight.

2. The permission forms to go the WSO next Wednesday (March 20th) were sent home today.  It is of no cost.  We ask that the permission forms be handed in asap.

Snow White, Eh!

Good evening,

Permission forms for the annual spring musical were sent home today.

This year, all grade 4 and 5 students are expected to participate.  They do not have to have a speaking role, but will at least sing in the chorus.

For those wanting a speaking role, they are required to memorize the lines which were sent home, and to sing "Tout ce que je veux" which can be found on Mme Burdeniuk's blog.  She will also be practicing the song during Music class.

Auditions are on March 18th and 19th.
